This week, I wrapped up the background for the upcoming Run Bear Run shop!

The buttons and interactive elements aren’t in place yet, but the visual foundation is ready — and I’m really happy with the atmosphere it sets.

I wanted the background to feel lively and full of personality, so I’ve hidden a few parodies and easter eggs in the design for players to spot.

The shop itself will eventually run on a gacha system, letting players unlock random boosts to push their high scores even further. It’s still a work in progress, but getting the background done is a big step toward bringing it to life.

Next step: adding the UI elements and connecting everything to the game logic.
